Product description
One morning Mrs Large, needing some peace and quiet away from her boisterous children, decides to take refuge in the bathroom. She fills a foamy bubble-bath and takes in a tray of tasty breakfast… but finds her peace is to be very short-lived! Vividly told in humorous text and glowing pictures by favourite author Jill Murphy, this funny, heartwarming picture book perfectly captures the everyday chaos of family life.
Also available: Read and Respond activities to accompany Five Minutes’ Peace.

on 7 March 2012I loved reading this book in primary school! The large family are still a favourite of mine and always will be! The author has made a great job of making the animal characters sound real by describing their actions and emotions.
