Product description
What could be better than a magic dress shop, where each gorgeous outfit takes you on an adventure through time and imagination? A shop with hundreds of dresses in every colour of the rainbow, sewn with magic thread, all ready to whisk you away? Ava has just discovered the enchantment of Marietta’s special dressing-up shop, so she can’t wait to try on a twinkling tutu with matching ballet slippers. Instantly, she finds herself magically swept away to Victorian times. It seems she has an important part to play in a sparkly ballet show… and in making another girl’s dreams come true! Captivating fantasy fiction for girls by the bestselling Gwyneth Rees.

on 17 April 2012The main characters in the story are Ava, Marietta (Ava’s aunt) and Otto (Ava’s Dad).
The story line is Ava travels through a magic mirror into Victorian times.
My favourite part is when Ava is very kind and lends her tutu to Florrie(the chimney sweeper) because Ava is helping Florrie to get a place in Madam Varty Ballet School.
I think this book is suitable for girls any age who believe in magic.
