Product description
Katniss survived the Hunger Games. Now the Capitol wants revenge. It’s payback time, and her chance of survival is even slimmer than ever… After winning the brutal Hunger Games, Katniss and Peeta have returned to District 12, hoping for a peaceful future. But their victory has caused rebellion to break out – and the Capitol has decided that someone must pay. As Katniss and Peeta are forced to visit the other districts on the Capitol’s Victory Tour, the stakes are higher than ever. Unless they can convince the world that they are still lost in their love for each other, the consequences will be horrifying. Then comes the cruellest twist: the contestants for the next Hunger Games are announced, and Katniss and Peeta are forced into the arena once more…
“Catching Fire not only lived up to my high expectations, it surpassed them. It’s just as exciting as The Hunger Games, but even more gut wrenching, because you already know these characters, you’ve already suffered with them.” Stephenie Meyer
“Again, Collins’ crystalline, unadorned prose provides an open window to perfect pacing and electrifying world-building, but what’s even more remarkable is that … these books are also brimming with potent themes of morality, obedience, sacrifice, redemption, love, law, and, above all, survival.” Booklist

on 1 March 2011You'll be hooked!
A genuinely exciting, page-turning, can’t-wait-to-see-what-happens-next series, set in a vividly described post-apocalyptic world where children fight to the death in the ultimate gameshow. The story centres around Katniss Everdeen, who must rely on her skill and guile as she fights to the death to beat the regime that threw her into this violent, bloody world. Packed with intrigue, excitement and a tinge of romance, you’ll be hooked from the first page of the first book to the end of the third.

Horror, drama and romance!
The Hunger Games Trilogy is an amazing series filled with horror, drama and romance.
This book is amazing and it is very moving, at one point of it I was brought to tears. It has great description to help you imagine the situation and how the characters feel. There are parts of the book where you can cleary tell what is happening and there are loads of cliff hangers which add great suspense. Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading because it is a very fun book to read and when you finish the trilogy you wish that there was more.
