Product description

We have chosen Can You See Me? as our Teen Book of the Month for Summer – an insightful and compelling story of autism that readers won’t want to put down. Co-written by blogger Libby Scott, an eleven-year-old living with autism, it charts her struggles to fit in and adapt to a world that doesn’t fully understand her. Libby’s voice brings enormous authenticity to this powerful read, which explains her struggles with compassion and accuracy as it documents the tricky transition to secondary school. The other author is Rebecca Westcott, who has won acclaim for her books Dandelion Clocks and Violet Ink. Presenting a highly autobiographical story in fictional form, this book is guaranteed to get children reading out of curiosity, enjoyment and a desire to understand others. Perfect for teens and confident younger readers of 9+.
