Product description

He has terrible tusks and terrible claws, and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws! Luckily, the fearsome Gruffalo doesn’t really exist – does he? Winner of numerous awards, this riotous rhyming tale shines with imagination, and is simply made for reading aloud while making romping, stomping Gruffalo noises! Hilarious, suspenseful and just a teeny bit scary, it brings the power of words and stories to shimmering life. Read it to your class today!

    A modern classic

It’s hard to tire of The Gruffalo – which, given it’s the kind of story kids will want to read again and again, is helpful. The text is structured so everybody can join in on their favourite bits, and is wonderfully descriptive and so easy to read aloud. The pictures throughout are rich in detail, adding another layer of things for children to find as they read along. A modern classic, and rightly so.
