Pam Dowson is a retired primary school teacher and PGCE tutor in Primary English. Pam is currently an independent literacy consultant who now writes.

Elspeth Graham is a freelance educational writer. She has written for many different publishers, including Longman, OUP and PCET.

Jillian Powell is experienced in teaching and in writing for all age ranges and key stages of the National Curriculum from Early years through Key Stage 4. She has written both fiction and non-fiction for reading schemes as well as the trade (eg Ginn, Heinemann, Longman, Watts). She is the author of Writing Guides: Adventure Stories (9-11).

Nichola Rees is a drama teacher, actress and theatre dirrector. She founded the Nichola Rees Youth Academy with the aim of giving confidence and inspiring young lives in a positive way.

Donna Thomson is a primary literacy specialist, researcher and educational writer.
