Fatter. Funnier. And with bigger pics. A new chunky edition: the same historical splattering of laughter, blood and gore. You never forget a cut-throat Celt. These wild warriors fought the Romans naked while collecting human heads. They even pickled their unlucky enemies’ brains. They certainly knew how to make a point. (Like, at your throat with a sharpened spear or sword.) The cut-throat Celts may have been a riotous hairy rabble, but they made the Roman army’s blood run cold. Gruesome Celtic games, strange Druid sacrifices… If this book’s not nasty enough for you, you must be a cut-throat Celt yourself!

Lexiles are the global standard in reading assessment. They are unique as
they are able to measure a child and a book on the same scale – ensuring
the right book gets to the right child at the right time.
