Robert Muchamore

Robert Muchamore was born in Islington in 1972 and spent thirteen years working as a private investigator. He was inspired to create the CHERUB series by his nephews complaints about the lack of anything for them to read!

The CHERUB series launched in 2004 with Robert’s debut novel CHERUB: The Recruit. It went on to win the Red House Children’s Book Award in 2005 and Richard & Judy’s Children’s Book Club in 2007 and has now been turned into Hodder’s first graphic novel. The central character James Adams enjoyed 12 CHERUB adventures, retiring as an active agent in CHERUB: Shadow Wave. In August 2011, CHERUB launched People’s Republic – a brand new story arc following the lives of new recruits Ryan and Ning with Guardian Angel publishing in August 2012.

In 2009, Henderson’s Boys was launched, taking readers back to the very first CHERUB adventure and explaining how Charles Henderson established the CHERUB organisation. His latest series is Rock Wars.

   Maximum Fun

   This book is definitely the most mature and grusome of the cherub books I've read, it has a much more darker tone than the previous and many of the following books but it is one of the shortest Cherub books and I was able to read it in only a week it is a very good and entertaining book but I wouldn't advice reading it if your under 13. The plot is great and it focuses on many cherub agents not just the protagonist. Very good book.

   Really great book, again, I’m still loving this series of books! Each book tells a thrilling and adventurous new story that you will definitely get into! This book really describes what Prison life is like and makes you not want to go to prison! I love all of the missions that James goes on as well. I’m sure there is some kind of magic in these books, because they all have me hypnotized! :D DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! (I would say These books are for 10 yrs + though, as there is some violence and sometimes swearing ~)Over all, Loved it!
