Product description
“OMG. I think I just joined glee club and I am NOT EVEN JOKING!”
Buttercup has ISSUES. Her family’s dysfunctional, her best friend’s a drama queen and she doesn’t even know who her dad is! What’s a girl to do? Isn’t it obvious? Join the school glee club, embarrass the hell out of yourself singing rock ballads and dancing like a demented hamster on a sugar rush, and write a diary for an internet shrink about your messed-up life. OK, well perhaps YOU wouldn’t… but Buttercup does! The mash-ups at the glee club are nothing compared with the mash-up of Buttercup’s life! A hilarious and touching tale from bestselling author Joanna Nadin.
Praise for the Rachel Riley series:
“A genuine rival to Adrian Mole… an absolute must-read.” Publishing News
“Nadin achieves the rare trick of producing a book that will make both adults and teenagers laugh aloud.” Observer

on 2 March 2012I read buttercup mash early last year after winning it in a competition, and was so impressed. I had never heard of Joanna Nadin, but was so glad I won the book, because I was thoroughly impressed. The characters were quirky, the storylines funny, and the diary form made it really personal to the main character buttercup. Brill.

on 31 May 2011I really enjoyed it! I started Buttercup Mash yesterday and finished it yesterday, that’s how much I enjoyed it!
My favourite character is Stan because he was always there for Buttercup. My least favourite character was Imogen because although being there for Buttercup, she kind of used her to impress Blake.
