Product description

For once in his life, Alex is relaxing… enjoying a sunny holiday in the south of France. But out of the blue, evil strikes: a sudden, ruthless attack on his hosts. Alex is plunged back in the world of violence and mystery… but this time MI6 doesn’t want to know. Alex is on his own. Who are his friends’ attackers? He must track them down. But it’s a path that leads to a long-buried secret – and a discovery more terrible than anything he could have imagined. The fourth Alex Rider adventure heightens the stakes and the tension, as Alex begins to discover the hidden truth about himself.

I love this book. Alex discovers that Damian Cray a popular singer turns out to be a nutty man who wants to get rid of drugs. His purpose might be good but Cray doesn’t care about mankind. To achieve his goals, he plans to kill thousands of people. Alex has ninety minutes to stop the missiles from launching.
