He firmly believes that they await his call to strike against his enemies (he doesn’t actually have any enemies, but he’s assuming they’ll show up, sooner or later).

Derek lives on the outskirts of Dublin, and the reason he writes his own biography blurb is so that he can finally refer to himself in the third person without looking pompous or insane.

    I love these books my favourite books in the world! Author makes them sound so realistic! Best books in the universe. My favourite is dark days! It amazing all characters so cool best books I have read and never read anything better they the best!

    “What is it?’ Stephanie whispered. ‘That, my dear Valkyrie, is what we call a monster.’ She looked at Skulduggery. ‘You don’t know what it is, do you?’ ‘I told you what it is, it’s a horrible monster. Now shut up before it comes over here and eats us.”

    A must-read for fantasy fans! One of the best children’s urban fantasy books ever. The plot is interesting, the heroine strong and intelligent and the book is genuinely laugh-out-loud funny. 11/10!
