More about Francesca: “I was born in St Louis, Missouri, grew up in Los Angeles and attended both Yale and Oxford Universities, where I specialised in Medieval Studies. I then threw away a lucrative career as a medievalist and worked as a freelance journalist, writing for the Sunday Times, Guardian, Mail on Sunday, Telegraph, and Vogue.

After my son Joshua was born in 1989, I started writing children’s books full time.

I have published over 50 books, including the immensely popular Horrid Henry series, published in 17 countries and now a successful CITV animation series.

I live in London with my husband, son, and Tibetan Spaniel called Shanti.”

   horrid henry gets rich quick

   This book is a wonderfull tale to read about young horrid boy called 'horrid henry' who live with his mum, dad and his pefect brother called 'perfect peter'. In this wonderfull story horrid henry is hoping to get rid of his brother immidiently but he uses a very, very horrid way to do it...he also want to get rid of his mums perfume and his dads tennis rackets. So my advise to you, is to go out and buy this bopok, to experiance how horrid boys are like!!....

    This is a very good and funny book but I think it is more for younger children, the font is quite big so I would say from the age of 3-9 would be the ages I recommend it too but very good read!

    I just love wacky schemes in stories, so if you enjoyed this book, why not try a similar series: Max-a-Million Series by Trina Wiebe Max the Magnificant Max the Superhero Max the Movie Director There might be more but those are the ones I know.
