Product description

Charlie’s already seen incredible wonders – but as the great glass elevator zooms into the stratosphere (destination unknown!) he’s about to visit a space hotel, and meet the terrible Vermicious Knids! And with Willy Wonka’s flying skills not half as good as his chocolate-making skills, Charlie and his fellow-passengers Grandpa Joe and Grandma Josephine will need a miracle to get them out of there… The gravity-defying sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory sizzles with stratospheric fun!

Everyone knows Roald Dahl is a great author. This book proves it even more! The context flows well, it’s humorous and tense at the same time. My favourite character is The President because he is quick-witted and generally makes no sense at all!

Until I got the Roald Dahl series, I had never even heard of the great glass elevator, as I didn’t think there was a sequel. But I’m glad to say I think this was just as enjoyable as the first, and I particularly enjoyed the aging parts. Just hillarious. Loved it ever so much, and would read it again in a heart beat.

I’ve always tried to imagine those Knids, but i never have. Perhaps, they’re too scary or ugly? I like the idea of a elevator travelling in space with humans and a giant bed and loads of buttons. I give this 5 stars.
