Nina Peanut is Amazing and I a

I was looking for a book gift for my 9 year old nephew when I spotted the colourful cover of 'Nina Peanut is Amazing' in a bookshop in Dublin yesterday. I started reading and found myself chuckling away and being immediately drawn into Nina Peanut's quirky and charming and detailed world.
I ended up buying it and reading the whole thing through in one sitting it was that much fun. Every page is colourfully illustrated with lots of funny comments by Nina on proceedings as well as her feelings about certain events and family and friends. It's a very clever book, brilliantly crafted and funny. I'd also say it's a useful book, without ever being obviously 'preachy' or 'messagy', for kids trying to navigate social media and real versus online friends.
If my nephew enjoys it half as much as I did then I'll be happy. Somehow I think he'll enjoy it a lot more
