A Walk From Our School Pack x 3 Pack

Walking to school isn’t just a fun way to get fit and healthy. It’s a way to explore local geography by spotting things and solving clues. In this series, you’ll follow several groups of friends as they set off on circular walks from their different schools. On each walk, the kids are given some tricky questions to answer. Housing, traffic, leisure, jobs, buildings and nature: they’ll need to think about them all. Oh – and so will you! You’ll help them examine their local landscape to work out what it can tell them. Plus, you’ll learn to recognise landmarks and read a compass and map.
