Product description

It’s summer, and Rebecca is an unwilling visitor to Winterfold – snatched away from the buzz of London and the start of a budding romance. There, she meets Ferelith, who knows Winterfold inside out: the beach, the crumbling cliff paths, the village streets, the woods, the deserted churches, and the ruined graveyards being swallowed by the sea. It’s a place that doesn’t like to let you go. Against Rebecca’s better judgement, she and Ferelith become friends. During that hot, claustrophobic summer, they discover more about each other and about Winterfold than they really ought. They’re uncovering frightening secrets that would be best left long forgotten – like the story of the Rector and Dr Barrieux, master of Winterfold Hall, whose bizarre and bloody experiments researching the afterlife would make angels weep, and the devil crow.

    White Crow is fantastic!!

I read this book for the first time about a year ago, and have read it many times since. The chilling scariness and curious plot made me want to read more... And more... And more, until I finished it! I would recommend to anyone who likes gothic and psychological horror, but doesn't want any horrible gory stuff. An amazing read!!
