    Great sequel to Ashes

Shadows was a great book! It was very descriptive which allowed me to imagine all the gore and gruesome stuff going on. I liked the way that Ilsa Bick thought into the idea of if zombies really communicated and had proper emotions rather than the idea that they’re brainless with no idea of their surroundings or any self awareness. I also enjoyed how the narrative switched from different characters perspectives allowing you to know everything that was going on like in a movie. It was a great way to carry on Ashes and I hope that there will be a sequel to Shadows.
