Life at Wigglesbottom Primary is often lived on the edge. Is that a superhero dog on the school roof? YES! Is the lunchtime mashed potato really, really weird? YES! Does Susie Keys own an alien egg? YES! So what are Class 2R going to do about it all? Have a lot of fun!
Three short stories in each book keep just confident readers engaged while lively two-colour illustrations bring these hilarious early readers to life and perfectly bridge the gap between picture books and chapter books.

A great book for a 6 year old!
This is the first book my daughter has voluntarily read by herself (she's 6, a young Year 2 and has so far struggled a bit with reading). There are 3 stories told with delightful exaggeration and emphasis as if written by a child and this was the first time I felt she had really read aloud with meaning (and understanding what she was saying). What's more, the stories are funny (funny enough that we both laughed). I really can't recommend them enough. We've already bought another one in the series!
